Sustainability Methodology & Network Development Manager (m/f/d)
The place of work is flexible with the opportunity to work from home according to our different work (time) models. Business trips are required (approximately twice a month).
Your Tasks:
- Ensure external acceptance of our LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) method, including reviewing current methodologies and analyzing existing LCAs.
- Explore new methodological possibilities to advance evaluation and assessment methods. Incorporate the social dimension of sustainability into assessment methodologies.
- Integrate hygiene-related considerations into sustainability methodologies, focusing on the environmental and social impact of hygiene products and practices to ensure comprehensive coverage in assessments.
- Actively support the development and adjustment of sustainability strategies, including CSRD input at WEPA and associated goals, based on new methods.
- Engage strategically with key stakeholders such as NGOs and scientific institutes to foster sustainability assessments.
- Represent WEPA's interests in networks and different platforms.
- Contribute to publications and the development of standards that hold strategic relevance.
Your Profile:
- Personality: Strong team player, analytical mindset to drive decisions and sustainability strategies, self-motivated, proactive, and able to advocate for sustainability goals with external parties.
- Working: Experienced in working in a multi-disciplinary and international environment, proficient in initiating and maintaining impactful relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience and Know-how:
- Proven experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and sustainability assessments. In-depth knowledge of hygiene practices and understanding of social impacts of sustainable strategies.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and certifications related to hygiene and environmental sustainability is advantageous.
- Qualification: Academic background in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field, ideally with expertise in hygiene standards and industry practices.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential; German is a plus.
