Sustainability Manager Communication and Engagement (m / f / d)

Your Tasks :

1. You guide the company’s sustainability positioning and make WEPA’s ambition of being a Frontrunner in sustainability visible.
2. You represent WEPA as a sustainability frontrunner in external and internal stakeholder dialogues and take care of stakeholder specific positioning of WEPA through sustainability communication.
3. You act as the interface between WEPA’s sustainability activities and internal as well as external Stakeholders and manage the strategic external sustainability partnerships.
4. You manage, promote and foster sustainability engagement of WEPA Group employees through various measures and coordinate engagement projects across WEPA.
5. You guide and shape WEPA’s sustainability communication internally and externally in collaboration with WEPA Group Communications.
6. You are responsible for the preparation and publication of the WEPA Group Sustainability Report.
7. You make WEPA’s sustainability journey tangible, understandable and communicate about this with passion to inspire our stakeholders.
8. You ensure compliance with the EU Green Claims Directive and guarantee transparent and legally compliant sustainability communication.

Your Profile :

• Qualification: Master’s degree in business communication or equivalent – preferably with a focus on sustainability.
• Experience and Know-How: At least 5 years of relevant experience, international experience and confidence in stakeholder management is advantageous.
• Personality: Good intercultural and interpersonal skills, sustainability mindset, motivation, excellent communications skills.
• Working: Inspiring, passionate about sustainability, engaging, creating networks with internal and external stakeholders, ability to work in multifunctional teams, self-responsible way of working.
• Language: Very good skills in written and spoken English and German.
• Other: Good MS Office Skills, Social Media Experience.
