GE Vernova is looking for an innovative Sustainability & CSR Manager to spearhead sustainability strategies for GSI projects in Berlin. Key Responsibilities

1. Serve as the central point of contact for ESG and sustainability topics within GSI projects, coordinating with internal teams and addressing stakeholder inquiries.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with the supply chain to ensure compliance with sustainability requirements.
3. Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy aligned with GE Vernova's frameworks.
4. Establish guidelines and processes for contractors through Sustainability Management Plans.
5. Lead data collection, verification, and reporting of sustainability metrics.
6. Drive decarbonization efforts and oversee project-specific sustainability initiatives.
7. Collaborate across GE Vernova business units to ensure alignment and identify synergies.
8. Track progress on GRID-specific sustainability strategies and report results to stakeholders.
9. Support commercial teams in responding to customer inquiries related to sustainability.
10. Promote sustainability practices through effective communication strategies and educational initiatives for employees and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Management, or Economics or other related areas.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability roles within an industrial setting; GRID or power generation industry experience is advantageous.
3. Fluent in English (written and verbal); German proficiency is a plus.
4. Proven ability to develop and execute sustainability strategies while managing complex projects with multiple priorities.
5. Strong stakeholder management skills with excellent communication abilities in multicultural environments.
6. Proficiency in IT tools for reporting/documentation and demonstrated leadership skills to engage cross-functional teams effectively.
7. Willingness to travel up to 10%.
