Your area of work:

The Sustainability Reporting team within the Financial Accounting & Controlling Area is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive Sustainability Reporting and Internal Control Framework for Deutsche Börse Group. This includes overseeing the collection of sustainable data and continuously enhancing the internal control environment to ensure consistent, accurate and timely information as well as auditable and efficient reporting processes.

The team also identifies, advises on and implements new disclosure requirements based on a deep understanding of evolving regulatory expectations and stakeholder needs.

Your responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation of the annual CSRD-compliant Sustainability Statement, including data collection, content development, and ensuring external assurance
  • Ensure compliance with sustainability disclosure requirements and proactively address them to ensure timely, and high-quality results
  • Coordinate the reporting process and foster internal alignment across governance structures
  • Continuously improve reporting processes and internal controls to ensure data quality and audit readiness
  • Collaborate closely with the business units, data owners, technical teams, internal audit and external assurance providers

Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed your studies in the area of Finance, Sustainability Management, Business Administration, Economics or similar qualifications with a solid background in handling sustainability reporting
  • You are familiar with sustainable related regulations and frameworks, e.g., CSRD and EU Taxonomy
  • You have first professional in-house and/or consultancy experience and ideally experience in sustainability management
  • You have excellent language skills in German and English as well as expert knowledge in MS Office (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
  • Your independent and structured way of working, agile mind-set, as well as analytical skills help you manage new requirements easily and successfully balance interests of all internal and external parties
  • You are able to interact effectively with stakeholders of all levels, enjoy working in cross-functional teams and projects and are keen to implement and steer governance processes
