For our XIAO restaurant in Gelsenkirchen, we are looking for full-time sushi chefs (m/f/d) as soon as possible:

Responsibilities:
  • With your flair for food trends in Japanese cuisine and your culinary creativity, you will continuously develop XIAO's sushi buffet and set new, innovative standards.
  • Independent production: Celebrate the art of sushi preparation and process our high-quality fish professionally while maintaining consistent and top quality.
  • Be responsible for the preparation and follow-up of your workplace as well as compliance with our quality standards.
  • Plan and act economically in the preparation of goods.
  • Clean the kitchen equipment in compliance with hygiene regulations in accordance with food law requirements (HACCP guidelines).
Qualifications:
  • You have many years of professional experience as a passionate sushi chef.
  • You have a contemporary and trend-orientated approach to Japanese cuisine, especially sushi.
  • You have culinary creativity and work with attention to detail.
  • You have excellent dexterity.
  • You have knowledge in the professional handling of fresh and high-quality products.
