Optimus Search has partnered with a long standing market leader in the financial sector, serving more than 16,000 independent advisers & brokers . They develop cutting edge FinTech applications adding value to their clients in a wide range of areas; from preparing offers to preparing commission statements. We have partnered with them to aid in their search for a Support Engineer (2nd Level) , reporting to their state-of-the-art offices in either Troisdorf or Wiesbaden . This role also offers long-term development road maps to become a Software Developer, equally, they are happy to support your growth / training within this position for many years!

  • You are a member of a cross-location development team that supports and further develops software for our internal and external customers .
  • As a 2nd level supporter, you are the contact person for requirements regarding ongoing operations and problem reports .
  • You analyse incoming problem reports , perform evaluations on databases and correct simple software errors independently .
  • As a coordinator for daily operations, you coordinate with the specialist departments and your developer colleagues in the team.

What we expect :
