The Supply Planning Manager, Food & Beverage is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient management, integration and continuous improvement of Supply Chain management processes and technologies from vendors through to customers and joint venture partners.

This position reports to the Senior Leader PSI & Business Analytics and is part of the Integrated Supply Chain Function located in Bad Kreuznach, Germany and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Own and maintain the weekly/monthly Supply plan for the entire business unit and reconcile against the demand plan to highlight any gaps or major changes.
2. Collate information and host/facilitate monthly Business Unit Level PSI Review (Month 2 to Month 18) with the BU GM and all key stakeholders.
3. Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand expectations, minimizing stock-outs whilst ensuring inventory is turning at targeted levels. Develop tools to predict future risks, increase accuracy in supply planning and provide insight for executive decision making.
4. Collaborate with demand planning to develop strategic regional allocations, supply commitments and plan for the operational horizon (2-18 months).
5. Partner with key factories and sourcing leaders to ensure long term supply of critical raw materials based on latest Finished good demand plans. Escalate supply shortages to executive management to minimize disruptions to supply continuity.

The essential requirements of the job include:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or relevant field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Supply Planning for procurement in an international manufacturing and supply chain environment.
3. Minimum 3 years of experience using continuous improvement tools and methodologies to include lean conversions.
4. Strong reading and writing skills in English.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to travel regionally and internationally 25% of the time.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

1. Certification in Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, or similar.
2. Understanding of the RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Actions) and Counter Measures (CM) processes and Action Plan implementation.
3. Previous experience using an Advanced Planning System (APS).
4. Proficiency in the German language.
