About Your New Employer

About Your New Job

• Receive and Store Deliveries: Check in and store deliveries, ensuring accuracy and reporting discrepancies.
• Order Fulfillment: Fill food service orders, assemble and prepare them for delivery or shipment.
• Delivery and Shipment: Load delivery carts and deliver supplies to appropriate departments or loading docks.
• Maintain Storeroom: Keep storeroom and work areas clean, sanitary, and organized for optimal use of space.
• Stock Management: Maintain adequate stock levels and refill supplies as needed.
• Inventory Management: Conduct inventory of food service supplies and maintain lists of needed items.
• Training: Assist in training and overseeing students in the Food Occupation Program.
• Additional Duties: Perform various duties related to food preparation and service as assigned.

What Skills You Need

• Education: Secondary Diploma required.
• Experience: Minimum one year of responsible food service experience and six months in a receiving or warehouse operation.
• Skills: Good listening, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to count, weigh, measure, and pack food goods properly.
• Licenses: Valid driver's license and first aid certification may be beneficial.
• Language: Ability to understand and communicate in English.
