Zusammenfassung

Orizon GmbH is seeking a Supply Chain & Quality Manager for our renowned client Airbus Operations at Hamburg/Finkenwerder. The role focuses on the Ground Support Equipment & Tools department, handling contract SCM and quality, risk mitigation, and supplier development.

The ideal candidate has a background in Supply Chain/Logistics or Industrial Engineering with several years in procurement and quality assurance, plus Airbus exposure and readiness for European travel. Fixed-term until end of 2028.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor or higher in Supply Chain/Logistics, Industrial Engineering or comparable.
• Several years of professional experience in Procurement, Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Quality Management and Quality Assurance.
• Experience in Airbus environment/suppliers is a plus.
• Experience in after-sales and managing recovery plans is a plus.
• Good knowledge about Project Management.
• Very good user skills in MS-Office and Google Workspace.
• Fluent English spoken and written.
• French or Spanish skills are a strong plus.
• Willingness for occasional business trips (globally, but mainly within Europe).

Aufgaben

• Manage Supply Chain & Quality aspects of the contract, ensuring On Time, On Quality (and On Cost when applicable) performance.
• Identify supplier risks and issues, propose mitigations and follow up recovery and improvement plans.
• Assess and work with suppliers to ensure After Sales ramp up.
• Assess suppliers during tendering phase and contribute to selection in call for tender.
• Monitor or support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Transfer of Work (ToW) for industrial qualification maturity before serial phase.
• Be in charge of supplier Approval/Conformity.
• Ensure suppliers comply with Airbus/EASA requirements in coordination with stakeholders.

Your Prospective Job:

For our renowned customer Airbus Operations you are acting at the location Hamburg / Finkenwerder as Supply Chain & Quality Manager (m/f/d) within the Ground Support Equipment & Tools department.

This position is a fixed-term position through the end of 2028.

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage Supply Chain & Quality aspects of the contract, being responsible for On Time, On Quality (and on Cost when applicable) performance
• Identify the supplier industrial risks and issues, propose mitigation actions and follow up short term recovery plans as well as mid term / long term improvement and development plans
• Assess and work with suppliers to ensure the After Sales ramp up
• Assess suppliers during tendering phase and contribute to the selection decision in the frame of call for tender
• Monitor or support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Transfer of Work (ToW) to ensure industrial qualification maturity before serial phase
• Be in charge of supplier Approval/ Conformity
• Ensure suppliers compliance with Airbus/ EASA requirements in coordination with relevant stakeholders

Your Profile:
