We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Aerostructures and are looking for a motivated employee for the position "Supply Chain Quality Manager" (m/f/d).
Responsibilities:
- Manage supply chain & quality aspects of the contract, ensuring on-time, on-quality, and on-cost performance when applicable.
- Act as an escalation point for repetitive issues and develop short-term recovery plans.
- Ensure industrial qualification maturity before the serial phase.
- Assess suppliers during tendering and contribute to selection decisions.
- Evaluate supplier capacity, capability, and performance; contribute to supplier development.
- Initiate and manage supplier performance improvement projects and set long-term development targets in coordination with the supplier development team.
- Ensure industrialization and compliance with Airbus requirements for new product introductions (e.g., Zero E).
- Present supplier operational performance (KPIs, assessments) during MFT/MDT meetings.
- Maintain close communication with internal operational teams to ensure coordinated delivery of goods or services.
- Serve as the focal point for operational activities and contract management with suppliers, representing the supplier internally.
- Act as the focal point for QSR (Quality Survey Report), monitoring potential production nonconformities and initiating corrective actions.
Your Profile:
- Degree in engineering, supply chain, business administration, aviation and aerospace, or a comparable qualification.
- Over 4 years of professional experience in supplier management, project management, quality management, or supply chain.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Basic knowledge of change management.
- Fluent in English and German.
- Willingness to travel.
