Job description
Tasks
- Contact person for suppliers in operational activities and contract management, as well as liaising with internal departments
- Evaluating suppliers during the tendering phase and participating in the selection decision
- Managing the supply chain and ensuring quality and on-time delivery, taking into account possible costs
- Monitoring the quality approval and certification of suppliers in coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Supporting the introduction of new products and ensuring industrial qualification maturity prior to series production
- Providing consolidated forecasts for suppliers and ensuring the required capacities
- Analysing the performance, capacities and risks of suppliers and developing measures to improve performance
- Leading supplier development projects, as well as initiating risk mitigation measures and annual supplier evaluation (SED)
Requirements
- Successfully completed technical studies, business administration or supply chain quality
- Several years of professional experience in the areas of supplier management, procurement (operational and strategic), quality management and supply chain
- Basic knowledge of project management and risk management
- In-depth knowledge of MS PowerPoint and initial experience with SAP and Google Workspace
- Fluency in German and business fluent in English
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Team player with strong communication skills, assertiveness and a customer-orientated and analytical way of working
- A valid work permit for the European Union (no student visa)
