Join our team as an expert in supplier management!

Take on a key role in supporting and developing the suppliers of our customer Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg and contribute to optimising the supply chain. Use your project management skills and strong communication skills to successfully organise and further develop risk management and supplier evaluation. The gross annual salary is approx. € 80,800 to max. € 83,700. Please note that we can only consider candidates who have a valid work permit for the EU (not a student visa).

Job description

Tasks

1. Contact person for suppliers in operational activities and contract management, as well as liaising with internal departments
2. Evaluating suppliers during the tendering phase and participating in the selection decision
3. Managing the supply chain and ensuring quality and on-time delivery, taking into account possible costs
4. Monitoring the quality approval and certification of suppliers in coordination with relevant stakeholders
5. Supporting the introduction of new products and ensuring industrial qualification maturity prior to series production
6. Providing consolidated forecasts for suppliers and ensuring the required capacities
7. Analysing the performance, capacities and risks of suppliers and developing measures to improve performance
8. Leading supplier development projects, as well as initiating risk mitigation measures and annual supplier evaluation (SED)

Requirements

1. Successfully completed technical studies, business administration or supply chain quality
2. Several years of professional experience in the areas of supplier management, procurement (operational and strategic), quality management and supply chain
3. Basic knowledge of project management and risk management
4. In-depth knowledge of MS PowerPoint and initial experience with SAP and Google Workspace
5. Fluency in German and business fluent in English
6. Willingness to travel occasionally
7. Team player with strong communication skills, assertiveness and a customer-orientated and analytical way of working
8. A valid work permit for the European Union (no student visa)
