Zusammenfassung

CHEP Deutschland GmbH seeks an experienced supply chain planner to optimize stock, streamline inbound/outbound operations, and align financial goals with the grand supply chain plan.

You will collaborate with logistics and transport teams, drive cost-efficient fulfillment, and report KPIs to leadership on a regular cadence. A hybrid work model and competitive package are offered.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
• 3-5 years planning management operations, facility engineering, supply chain or logistics experience
• 1-2 years in Project Management
• Fluent English and German
• Experience with industry tools e.g. BlueYonder/Manugistics, i2, Red Prairie, Manhattan Assoc

Aufgaben

• Implement and manage plant-level safety stock policies to balance inventory.
• Oversee optimization of inbound, outbound, and relocation logistics for cost-to-serve.
• Collaborate with transportation and logistics teams to move stock efficiently from origin to destination.
• Ensure financial and compliance goals align with the supply chain plan.
• Partner with logistics and transportation teams for cost-effective fulfilment.
• Relocate surplus stock to deficit markets to balance pools.
• Monitor and report KPIs to leadership weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
• Drive continuous improvement across the supply chain for efficiency and cost reduction.

Job Description Key Responsibilities May Include:

• Implement and manage plant-level safety stock policies to maintain a balanced inventory of all stock types and maximize plant capacities.
• Oversee short- and mid-term optimization of inbound, outbound, and relocation logistics to achieve the best possible cost to serve while ensuring efficient operations.
• Collaborate with transportation and logistics teams to move stock efficiently from origin to destination, ensuring the right inventory mix is maintained.
• Ensure financial and compliance goals are aligned with the strategic supply chain plan, communicating frameworks to execution teams.
• Partner with logistics and transportation teams to ensure cost-effective fulfilment while meeting inventory and customer service objectives.
• Manage pool balancing initiatives by relocating surplus stock to deficit markets, optimizing stock positioning across regions.
• Monitor and report key performance metrics, presenting results to supply chain leadership teams on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence.

Our requirements:

• University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years planning management operations, facility engineering, supply chain or logistics experience
• 1-2 years in Project Management
• Languages: fluent English and German are a must, Spanish or any European Language is a nice to have
• Understanding of industry tools e.g. BlueYonder/Manugistics, i2, Red Prairie, Manhattan Assoc
• Familiarity with BlueYonder, SAP, BW, computer basics (Office, Excel, Access...)
• Exceptional technical and communication skills
• Lean/Six sigma experience
• M/soft, SAP, SQL Experience of interacting effectively with Management cross-functionally
• Demonstrated ability to drive solutions at all levels of an organization
• Demonstrated outstanding project management skills
• Demonstrated track record of obtaining results and driving solutions
• Autonomous, self-initiative and results driven
