Job Title: Business Development Manager Production

Our Production Department is responsible for the supply chain behind the online used-car-buying experience for private customers, from vehicle repair to delivery via our glass trucks or transport to the pick-up branch. We are fast, data-driven, and efficient, aiming to redefine the used car market with a first-class production process. Support us in this mission by constantly questioning the status quo, demonstrating your negotiating skills, and showcasing your competence.

Based at our headquarters in Berlin, you will work closely with on-site departments at our production facilities across Germany to elevate our used-car refurbishment processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Build and expand our supplier network for production processes.
2. Establish and refine procurement budgeting and cross-border benchmarking processes.
3. Contribute to the development and improvement of purchasing strategies and seek innovative solutions.
4. Monitor market trends and manage customer/supplier relationships to identify savings and optimization opportunities.
5. Conduct enquiries, tenders, negotiations, and manage contracts.
6. Collaborate across departments to develop effective procurement solutions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in procurement within a start-up, management consultancy, fast-growing company, or automotive sector.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with modern procurement methodologies and supply chain processes.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data-driven decision-making.
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented, highly organized, capable of working independently and in a team.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
