As a Business Intelligence Analyst with Supply Chain experience (f/m/d) within the Team Market Intelligence & Sourcing Analytics, you will take an expert role within the division Supply Chain Excellence, providing analytical insights to our International Category Manager and Management team in strategic, tactical, and operative processes.
What you are responsible for
- Ensuring close, effective, and supportive interaction with category teams and management to deliver valuable data insights into decision-making processes for strategic, tactical, and operative Supply Chain processes
- Combining Business & Supply Chain knowledge with analytical skills to optimize sourcing results (e.g., comparing complex offers from suppliers on item level) and gaining insights from processes (e.g., tenders, auctions, ordering)
- Establishing new interactive dashboards and reports covering aspects of defining data sources, transformation, modeling, analytics, and visualization (SAP and non-SAP)
- Scaling the application and utilization of smart analytics in Supply Chain processes
- Applying deep analytics to go beyond existing KPIs to identify process inefficiencies and spend intelligence insights, deriving improvement measures
- Driving process transparency initiatives and developing best practices (including IT tools) to support performance monitoring, steering, and transparency across categories
- Continuous learning, developing our Supply Chain business intelligence methods & tools, and maintaining an open mindset to work with diverse stakeholders
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Technology or equivalent professional qualification (M.Sc., Diploma)
- Over 3 years of professional experience in business intelligence analytics, including methods (e.g., clustering, mapping & visualization) and tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Power Query, SAC, Celonis)
- Comprehensive understanding of strategic, tactical, and operative Supply Chain processes and tools (including SAP MM & SAP Business Warehouse)
- Highly developed analytical skills, a structured work style, and a pragmatic hands-on approach
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships at peer and higher levels
- Fluent in English and German
- Familiarity with programming languages is advantageous but not required
