Zusammenfassung

Vention in Germany is expanding its EMEA team. You will own the Supply MRP process for EMEA, manage inbound logistics, and work with suppliers and the Montreal team to ensure on-time parts delivery.

You bring a Bachelor's in engineering or related field, 5+ years in global procurement, strong analytical skills, and fluent English (German a plus). This role offers growth, international travel, and a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in Supply Chain.
  • 5+ years of global procurement or supply chain experience.
  • Strong analytical and data skills using Excel/Google Sheets; SQL is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • APICS or similar certification is an asset.
  • Fluent English; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

  • Own the overall MRP process for EMEA daily and mid-term.
  • Review supplier performance and risk with Supply Chain Director.
  • Track inbound logistics and customs with carriers and Montreal team.
  • Maintain KPIs and drive actions to close performance gaps.
  • Manage inventory health and shortages risks with concrete recommendations.
  • Engage with internal clients and suppliers to ensure collaboration.
  • Coordinate NPIs, end-of-life parts with Montreal team.
  • Support orders planning with Operations to ensure on-time delivery.

As part of Vention's EMEA team expansion, reporting to the Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for executing MRP, inventory, and inbound logistics operations, while supporting supplier risk management and cross-functional coordination with the extended Supply Chain, Operations, Sales and engineering teams.

What You'll Do
  • Own the overall Supply MRP process for EMEA, including daily and mid term execution
  • Local suppliers performance review and risk assessment jointly with the Supply Chain Director
  • Inbound logistics & customs tracking follow-up with carriers, and logistics team in Montreal incl risk assessment mitigation
  • Maintain, assess and continuously improve Supply Chain KPIs and translate performance gaps into improvement actions (OTD, inventory turns, fill rate...)
  • Own inventory health and material availability, identifying shortages risks, investigations and drive concrete recommendations.
  • Ensure effective engagement, collaboration and cooperation with internal clients and suppliers
  • Work closely with the Montreal Team on NPIs, end of life parts management and master data updates in general.
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations Team to support Orders planning and scheduling ensuring on time parts delivery and risks flagging.
What You Bring to the Table
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Supply Chain Business degree;
  • You bring 5+ years' experience in global procurement, Supply chain position
  • Strong analytical and data skills (Excel/Google Sheets required; SQL or data analysis tools a strong plus).
  • You have excellent communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary team;
  • You have Excellent organizational skills and pay close attention to details. Your work is always up to date.
  • A curiosity to learn, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to contribute to something meaningful
  • APICS or similar certification is an asset
  • Fluent English required; German is a plus
