What You'll Do

TheSupplyChain/DemandPlannerisresponsibleforboththeforecastingandpurchasingfortheirrespectiveproductcategoryand/ororcustomerbase.Theywillworkcloselywithbothcommercialandsalesindevelopingdemandplansinaccordancewithtrendsthatdrivesales,minimizeexcessinventory,andmeetfinancialtargets.Additionally,theywillberesponsiblewithsecuringneededinventorytosupportdemandplansfromoursuppliersinaccordancewithinventoryandworkingcapitaltargets.

Toperformthisjobsuccessfully,anindividualmustbeabletoperformeachessentialdutyandresponsibilitysatisfactorily:

• ManageSupply/DemandReviewinmonthlyS&OPcycle
• Prepareandpresentthedemandscorecard(Sales,SPA,OTIF)
• Reviewtherolling12monthdemandplansandevaluatevsfinancialtargets
• Evaluateresultsofexcessand/orslowmovinginventoryselloffidentifiedatpreviousmonthSupplyReview
• Identifyexistingserviceorfinancialriskstodemandplanandmitigate
• Confirmnewproductsandthoseatend-of-life
• WorkwiththeProductManagementteamtounderstandtheproductrange,i.e.keycontributors,imageitems,etc.
• PartnerwiththeCommercialTeamtounderstandfinancialtargetsandsalesstrategies
• DevelopA/B/Cproductapproachtoplanningtomanageriskandoptimizeeffort
• Measureandreportonforecast/inventoryperformance
• Reviewsin-seasonsalescomparedtoforecasts/ordersandmakesupdatesbasedontrendandsalesinput.
• UpdatesforecasttoolwithallforecastchangesandASPsbysetdeadlines.
• SendpurchaseorderstoTaiwanpurchasingteamonmonthlycyclebydeadline.
• Communicatesforecastchangestoplanningandmarketingteamincludingcontextbehindchanges.
• Communicatessupplyconstraintstocommercial/financewhereapplicable.
• Creates,runs,andmanagesallreportingtosupportoperationalneeds.
• LeadrelevantOperationsprojectsasneeded
• Liaiseswithwarehousetoreviewindetailanywarehouseissuesandifneededtakingcorrectiveactiontoensurethatissuesaredealtwithasquicklyaspossible
• Planningandincludingin-demandnewproductsamplesfornewproductlaunchmeetings,tradeshows,exhibitions,andsalesmensamplestoensurethattheyareobtainedexactlywhenrequiredandtherebycontributingtothesuccessfulintroductionofnewproductsintoallEuropeanmarkets

What We're Looking For

ThisrolerequiresaBachelor'sdegree&priorexperienceinaSupplyChain,Purchasing,DemandPlanning,orsimilarrole.ExperienceintheFootwearandApparelindustryispreferred.
