The Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) is responsible for facilities, MRO, and fleet in the EMEA Region.

The SRM will manage significant procurement projects and work closely with all business units and functions. The role involves managing the central fleet for various European countries (Germany, UK, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland, Netherlands), handling fleet requests and inventories, and supporting local procurement teams and site managers. It ensures compliance with policies and procedures related to supplier selection, assessment, and development.

This position reports to the Sr. Commodity Manager for Indirect Sourcing, is part of the Global Integrated Supply Team, located in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, and is an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  1. Work on KPIs and cost-saving initiatives, stay updated on industry trends, and identify opportunities for innovation and risk mitigation.
  2. Oversee the implementation of indirect procurement strategies, manage procurement processes, and ensure compliance.
  3. Handle legal interactions such as NDAs and other legal matters with suppliers.
  4. Manage supplier relationships, conduct assessments, and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, negotiate contracts, and manage contract administration.
  6. Possess a Bachelor's Degree in procurement, supply chain, or engineering.
  7. Have 5+ years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or supplier relationship management.
  8. Have 3+ years of experience in indirect sourcing, focusing on facilities or fleet management.
  9. Prove a track record of contract negotiation, cost reduction, and supplier performance improvement.

Fluent in English and German with excellent communication skills.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to travel 25% regionally and internationally.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building and maintaining supplier relationships.
  • Ability to adapt, think critically, and solve problems under pressure.
  • Experience in continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
