The SRM will manage significant procurement projects and work closely with all business units and functions. The role involves managing the central fleet for various countries in Europe (Germany, UK, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland, Netherlands) and handling all fleet requests and inventories. This position supports, monitors, and assists local tactical purchasing teams and site managers, ensuring policies and procedures related to compliance, engagement, early involvement, supplier selection, assessment, and development are acknowledged and implemented.

This position reports to the Sr. Commodity Manager for Indirect Sourcing and is part of the Global Integrated Supply Team based in Bad Kreuznach, Germany. It is an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Work on Key Performance Indicators and cost-saving goals by focusing on savings project ideation and execution, staying updated on emerging technologies, materials, and best practices in indirect and supply chain management, and monitoring market trends & industry developments to identify opportunities for innovation, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
2. Oversee the implementation of the indirect strategy, manage the procurement process, and ensure compliance.
3. Handle legal interactions, such as supplier non-disclosure agreements and legal interactions between Pall and suppliers.
4. Manage supplier relationships by identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, conducting supplier assessments, attending supplier meetings/visits, and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers via SBRs.
5. Collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams (including engineering, manufacturing, materials, quality, finance), negotiate and manage contract administration, including LTAs/MSAs.
6. Possess a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in procurement, supply chain, or engineering.
7. Have 5+ years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, category management, or supplier relationship management.
8. Have 3+ years' experience in indirect sourcing with a focus on facilities or fleet management.
9. Demonstrate a proven track record of negotiating contracts, reducing costs, and improving supplier performance.

Fluent in English and German with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel 25% regionally and internationally.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Building, maintaining, and fostering relationships with suppliers.
• Ability to adapt, think critically, and problem-solve under pressure.
• Continuous improvement in manufacturing.
