The SRM will handle significant procurement projects and work closely with all business units and functions. The role involves managing the central fleet for various European countries (Germany, UK, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland, Netherlands), handling all fleet requests and inventories, supporting local tactical purchasing teams and site managers, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures related to procurement, supplier assessment, and development.

This position reports to the Sr. Commodity Manager for Indirect Sourcing and is part of the Global Integrated Supply Team located in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work on KPIs and cost-saving goals by focusing on savings projects, staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
  • Oversee the implementation of the indirect sourcing strategy, manage procurement processes, and ensure compliance.
  • Handle legal interactions, such as supplier non-disclosure agreements and legal communications between Pall and suppliers.
  • Manage supplier relationships by identifying, evaluating, and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers through meetings and assessments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, materials, quality, finance), negotiate, and manage contracts.
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in procurement, supply chain, or engineering.
  • Have 5+ years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, category management, or supplier relationship management.
  • Have 3+ years of experience in indirect sourcing with a focus on facilities or fleet management.
  • Proven track record of negotiating contracts, reducing costs, and improving supplier performance.
  • Fluent in English and German with excellent communication skills.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel 25% regionally and internationally.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience building and maintaining supplier relationships.
  • Ability to adapt, think critically, and solve problems under pressure.
  • Experience with continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
