The SRM will manage significant procurement projects and work closely with all business units and functions. The role involves managing the central fleet for various European countries (Germany, UK, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland, Netherlands), handling fleet requests and inventories, supporting local tactical purchasing teams and site managers, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures related to procurement and supplier management.

This position reports to the Sr. Commodity Manager for Indirect Sourcing, is part of the Global Integrated Supply Team based in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, and requires on-site presence.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Work on KPIs and cost-saving initiatives, stay updated on emerging technologies and market trends, and identify opportunities for innovation, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
• Oversee the implementation of indirect procurement strategies, manage procurement processes, and ensure compliance.
• Handle legal interactions, including supplier NDAs and legal communications between Pall and suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships by evaluating potential suppliers, conducting assessments, attending meetings and visits, and maintaining relationships via SBRs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, materials, quality, finance), negotiate contracts, and manage contract administration.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in procurement, supply chain, or engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, category management, or supplier relationship management.
• 3+ years in indirect sourcing with a focus on facilities and fleet management.
• Proven track record of negotiating contracts, reducing costs, and improving supplier performance.

Fluent in English and German with excellent communication skills.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environmental Requirements:

• Ability to travel 25% regionally and internationally.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred additional experience:

• Building and maintaining supplier relationships.
• Ability to adapt, think critically, and problem-solve under pressure.
• Continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
