The Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) is responsible for facilities, MRO, and fleet in the EMEA region.

The role involves managing significant procurement projects, working closely with all business units and functions. The SRM will oversee the central fleet for various European countries (Germany, UK, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland, Netherlands), managing requests and inventories, supporting local purchasing teams and site managers, and ensuring policy compliance.

This position reports to the Sr. Commodity Manager for Indirect Sourcing, is part of the Global Integrated Supply Team based in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, and is an on-site role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focus on KPIs and cost-saving initiatives, staying updated on emerging technologies and market trends to identify opportunities for innovation, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
• Implement indirect sourcing strategies, manage procurement processes, and ensure compliance.
• Handle legal interactions, including NDAs and supplier agreements.
• Manage supplier relationships through assessments, meetings, and maintaining strong relationships via SBRs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams on negotiations and contract management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in procurement, supply chain, or engineering preferred.
• 5+ years in sourcing, purchasing, or supplier relationship management.
• 3+ years in indirect sourcing, focusing on facilities and fleet management.
• Proven negotiation skills, cost reduction, and supplier performance improvement.

Language and Travel Requirements:

• Fluent in English and German, with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 25% regionally and internationally.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Preferred Experience:

• Building and maintaining supplier relationships.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving under pressure.
• Continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
