The Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) is responsible for facilities, MRO, and fleet in the EMEA Region.

The SRM will manage significant procurement projects and work closely with all business units and functions. The role involves managing the central fleet for various European countries (Germany, UK, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland, Netherlands), handling fleet requests and inventories, supporting local tactical purchasing teams and site managers, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures related to procurement, supplier assessment, and development.

This position reports to the Sr. Commodity Manager for Indirect Sourcing, is part of the Global Integrated Supply Team based in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, and requires on-site presence.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  1. Work on KPIs and cost-saving initiatives, stay updated on industry trends, and identify opportunities for innovation and risk mitigation.
  2. Oversee the implementation of indirect procurement strategies, manage the procurement process, and ensure compliance.
  3. Handle legal interactions such as NDAs and other legal matters with suppliers.
  4. Manage supplier relationships, conduct assessments, and maintain strong partnerships.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, negotiate, and manage contracts.
  6. Possess a Bachelor's Degree in procurement, supply chain, or engineering.
  7. Have 5+ years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or supplier relationship management.
  8. Have 3+ years in indirect sourcing with a focus on facilities and fleet management.
  9. Proven track record in negotiating contracts, reducing costs, and improving supplier performance.
  • Fluent in English and German, with excellent communication skills.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel 25% regionally and internationally.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Additional preferred experience includes:

  • Building and maintaining supplier relationships.
  • Ability to adapt, think critically, and solve problems under pressure.
  • Continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
