The Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) is responsible for facilities, MRO, and fleet in the EMEA Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage significant procurement projects and collaborate closely with all business units and functions.
  • Manage the central fleet for various European countries (Germany, UK, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland, Netherlands) and oversee all fleet requests and inventories.
  • Support, monitor, and assist local tactical purchasing teams and site managers.
  • Ensure policies and procedures related to compliance, engagement, early involvement, supplier selection, assessment, and development are acknowledged and implemented.
Reporting and Location

This position reports to the Sr. Commodity Manager for Indirect Sourcing and is part of the Global Integrated Supply Team based in Bad Kreuznach, Germany. It is an on-site role.

Opportunities in this Role
  • Work on KPIs and cost-saving goals by focusing on savings projects, staying updated on emerging technologies, market trends, and industry developments.
  • Oversee the implementation of the indirect sourcing strategy, manage procurement processes, and ensure compliance.
  • Handle legal interactions, such as supplier NDAs and legal negotiations.
  • Manage supplier relationships by identifying, evaluating, and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to negotiate and manage contracts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in procurement, supply chain, or engineering.
  • 5+ years' experience in sourcing, purchasing, category management, or supplier relationship management.
  • 3+ years' experience in indirect sourcing focusing on facilities or fleet management.
  • Proven track record in negotiating contracts, reducing costs, and improving supplier performance.
Language and Travel Requirements
  • Fluent in English and German, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to travel 25% regionally and internationally.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Experience
  • Building and maintaining supplier relationships.
  • Ability to adapt, think critically, and solve problems under pressure.
  • Experience in continuous improvement in manufacturing.
