Job description
Tasks
- Responsibility for an international supplier portfolio in the area of equipment (civil and military) including selection, qualification and monitoring
- Ensuring delivery performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and delivery capability through active monitoring
- Continuous performance improvement based on defined KPIs and application of tools such as IPCA, SQIP, CCP
- Risk management for suppliers with regard to capacities and capabilities
- Optimization of the supply chain and cost reduction (logistics, inventories, supplier-controlled warehousing, missing parts, non-quality costs)
- Increased transparency and forecast reliability through close cooperation with suppliers
- Analysis of quality complaints and implementation of preventive and corrective measures
- Support and implementation of sustainable recovery and action plans to stabilize suppliers
Requirements
- Degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable course of study
- Several years of professional experience in project management, quality management and the supply chain
- In-depth application knowledge of SAP and experience in using Google applications
- Business fluent in German and English (at least C1)
- Valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa)
- Solution-oriented team player with a proactive way of working as well as “thinking outside the box”, negotiation skills and customer orientation
