Supervisor Mechanical Engineering (m/f/d) - Employment in the USA
- Supervise, mentor, and support a team of Mechanical Engineers.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and set development goals for team members.
- Coordinate with other departments to integrate systems effectively and resolve cross-functional issues.
- Review design documents, including drawings, BOMs, GD&T, schematics, risk assessments, and other deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to engineering budgets for projects.
- Determine design solutions for machinery and machine parts, and generate equipment drawings for manufacturing.
- Define purchase parts and create technical specifications.
- Perform design reviews internally and with customers, and obtain approvals.
- Perform GD&T (Dimensioning and Detailing).
- Conduct risk assessments in machine safety.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Several years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing automated special machinery.
- Proficient in SolidWorks and other engineering tools and software.
- Strong knowledge of special automation machinery design and GD&T.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide technical leadership.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- This position is based in the office, with occasional site visits to project locations as required.
- Some travel may be necessary for client meetings, project installations, and industry events.
- Salary range: $120,000 - 130,000.
