Supervisor / Head of IT Department (m/f/d)

To support our rapidly growing team, we are looking for a full-time Supervisor / Head of IT Department (m/f/d) at our Stulln location in the Upper Palatinate.

Your tasks

• Leading and developing a team of IT administrators, network and security specialists (currently seven employees) with a clear focus on collaboration, motivation and individual development.
• Responsibility for the entire IT infrastructure (including servers, backup, M365, Windows environments, networks, firewalls).
• Implementation and management of projects for the further development and optimization of the IT landscape including budgeting and resource management.
• Promoting an open exchange within the team and with other specialist departments.
• Coordinating and supporting team members in their daily work - you are the first point of contact for professional and personal concerns.
• Analyzing and resolving technical challenges and coordinating external partners and service providers.

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, business informatics or comparable training.
• Ideally several years of experience in leading IT teams - you know how to motivate and develop people and promote collaboration.
• Confident handling of IT infrastructures, networks, Windows environments, cloud solutions and IT security.
• Experience in the introduction of new technologies and project management.
• Enjoy actively supporting and developing a team - both professionally and personally.
• Strong communication skills - you can convey technical content clearly, promote open dialog and create trust within the team.
• Solution-oriented, structured way of working with a hands-on mentality.
• Very good knowledge of German and English.
