Job summary

Eurofins Agroscience Services Chem GmbH in Hamburg is seeking a Study Director Assistant for Residue Studies (m/f/d) to support Study Directors and Project Managers under GLP standards. You will coordinate sample preparation, instrument analyses, and data handling while helping maintain customer relationships and timely reporting.

A degree in Food Chemistry or related field is required, with strong English skills, good IT aptitude, and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Chemistry or a related scientific discipline (e.g., Chemical Engineering).
• Initial experience in residue analysis is advantageous.
• Practical knowledge of LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, and HPLC.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Solid IT skills, particularly in MS Excel and other digital tools.
• Team player with willingness to learn, responsibility, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Actively support Study Directors and Project Managers in planning and execution of residue studies under GLP.

To strengthen our laboratory team at Eurofins Agroscience Services Chem GmbH in Hamburg (specializing in residue analysis of agrochemicals under Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards), we are looking for a Study Director Assistant for Residue Studies (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible.

Job Description

• Actively support Study Directors and Project Managers in the planning and execution of studies on the residue behavior of agrochemicals and environmental contaminants in crops, soil, water, air, and living ecosystems (beneficial insects, bees, etc.) in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards.
• Coordinate study-related sample preparation and laboratory analysis activities.
• Assist in the preparation of GLP-compliant study plans, raw data records, and final reports.
• Operate and maintain LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS instrumentation, evaluate analytical results, and transfer data into spreadsheets and databases.
• Support the maintenance of customer relationships and communications.

• Practical knowledge of instrumental analytical techniques, including LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, and HPLC.
