Job summary

Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Munich GmbH is seeking a Laboratory Assistant / Technical Assistant to support the Bioassay Department. The role focuses on performing bioassays to assess biological activity of biopharmaceuticals under GMP, with hands-on work in mammalian cell culture and related techniques.

The position requires BTA/MTA/CTA or biology lab technician training, strong experience in cell culture, and proficiency with ELISA, FACS, and PCR.

Qualifications

• Completed training as a BTA/MTA/CTA/biology lab technician or equivalent with hands-on laboratory experience.
• Profound experience in mammalian cell culture is a requirement.
• Experience in handling multichannel pipettes and working in 96-well format is advantageous.
• Experience with ELISA, FACS and PCR is an asset.
• Experience with GLP/GMP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform bioassays to determine biological activity of biopharmaceuticals under GMP.
• Carry out various bioassays (proliferation, apoptosis, FACS, ADCC, luciferase; ELISAs; SPR/Biacore).
• Maintain aseptic cell-based work and document under GMP-compliant conditions.
• Contribute to quality control and data recording in a regulated environment.

For Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Munich GmbH we are looking for a Laboratory Assistant / Technical Assitant (m/f/d) – Bioassay Department for the Munich location as soon as possible.

• Performance of bioassays to determine the biological activity of biopharmaceuticals under GMP
• Performance of different types of bioassays such as proliferation, apoptosis, FACS, ADCC, and luciferase assays, as well as ELISAs and SPR/Biacore assays
• Aseptic work with cells in cell-based assays
• Work and documentation under GMP-compliant conditions
  • Completed training as a BTA/MTA/CTA/biology lab technician or equivalent with hands-on laboratory experience
  • Profound experience in the field of mammalian cell culture is a requirement
  • Experience in handling multichannel pipettes, working in 96 well format, ELISA, FACS and PCR is an advantage
  • Experience working under GLP/GMP is an advantage
  • Computer skills as well as communication and teamwork skills
  • Good knowledge of German and English
