Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support IT team by organizing and cleaning office and storage areas where IT equipment is kept.
• Sort, label and organize IT equipment (laptops, monitors, keyboards, docking stations, peripherals).
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and identify items for return, storage, recycling or disposal.
• Assist with preparing and packaging IT equipment to be shipped to employees.
• Assist with receiving and unpacking IT equipment returned by employees.
• Support basic setup and preparation of equipment for new and existing employees.
• Keep IT storage areas organized and safe.
• Assist with other general IT administration tasks and day-to-day logistics.

We are looking for a Student Worker to provide temporary support to our IT team. This role will be focused on helping to organize and manage IT equipment, supporting equipment logistics for employees, and assisting with basic IT equipment setup. The position is expected to be for approximately 1–2 months, making it a great opportunity for a student looking to gain practical experience working within an IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the IT team with organizing and cleaning up the office and storage areas where IT equipment is kept.
• Sort, label and organize IT equipment, including laptops, monitors, keyboards, docking stations and other IT peripherals.
• Help maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and identify equipment that needs to be returned, stored, recycled or disposed of.
• Support with preparing and packaging IT equipment to be shipped to employees.
• Assist with receiving and unpacking IT equipment returned by employees.
• Support the IT team with basic setup and preparation of equipment for new and existing employees.
• Help keep IT storage areas organized and ensure equipment is stored safely and efficiently.
• Assist with other general IT administration and tasks as required.
• Work closely with the IT team to support day-to-day equipment and logistics needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Organized and able to work independently on practical tasks.
• Good attention to detail, particularly when handling and tracking equipment.
• Reliable and comfortable with hands‑on work, including moving and organizing IT equipment.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to support employees and the wider IT team.
• Previous IT experience is helpful but not required; a willingness to learn is most important.

Duration

This is a temporary Student Worker position expected to last approximately 1–2 months.
