Job Description
Nevada State University invites applications for the position of Student Worker - Financial Aid Clerical Assistant. The student worker will work directly with students, parents and departments in the areas of customer service, information data collection, walk-in, and phone operations. This position requires a great deal of independent judgment, analytical skills, and strong people skills when communicating information directly to the students, their families, and other departments.
Additionally, this position requires a strong knowledge of college, state, and federal policies and regulations regarding student accounts along with a strong understanding of the inner workings of departments related to student services. Applicants with an intermediate to high level technical knowledge and understanding of the PeopleSoft system, Microsoft Office, Hyland OnBase and the Kbox Support portal preferred.
