The University of New Mexico's Center for Social Sustainable Systems (CESOSS) invites a work-study student to join its Marketing and Communications team. Based in Albuquerque, this off-campus position supports newsletter creation, event information, database management, and media outreach.
The role is 10–20 hours per week, may include remote work, and requires a current Work-Study award; strong writing, editing, social media skills, and bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are preferred.

Job description
CESOSS is looking for a qualified work-study student who canassist in all aspects of Communications & Marketing, including materialdistribution, creating, editing, and publishing our newsletter, creating anddisseminating event information, managing our database, and coordinatingmarketing events. Responsible for researching, writing, and editing stories forLa Voz. Writing press releases, as well as other projects as assigned.
10-20 hours a week
Qualifications
Must have excellent writing and editing skills, be creative, flexible, extremely detail-oriented, and self-directed. The applicant must have experience with editing software, Canva, and experience managing social media.
Junior or Senior
Journalism, Marketing, English, or Media Studies Student preferred.
Must be work-study qualified
