Jobbeschreibung

Student Research Assistants Medical Sensing, Communications, and Modeling

The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft (www.fraunhofer.com ) is one of the world's leading organizations for application-oriented research. 74institutes develop pioneering technologies for our economy and society – more precisely: 30000 people from technology, science, administration and IT. They know: Anyone who comes to Fraunhofer wants to and can make a difference. For themselves, for us and for the markets of today and tomorrow.

Future. Discover. Together.

The “Wireless Communications and Networks” department at the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute (HHI) develops wireless communication systems for future mobile network generations (5G+/6G and beyond). The “Connected Intelligence and Robotics” (CIR) group focuses on advanced radio systems, AI-native communications, integrated sensing and communication (ISAC), edge intelligence, digital twins, and secure wireless connectivity.

In close collaboration with medical partners, the group investigates how emerging 6G technologies, including integrated sensing and communication, edge intelligence, and distributed AI, can enable future healthcare applications. This includes novel approaches for medical sensing, physiological monitoring, diagnostics, therapy support, and telemedicine, validated through simulations and experimental testbeds. Become a part of our team and join us on our journey of research and innovation!
