Join a world-class, interdisciplinary team working on deep-tech research in Berlin. As a Student Assistant in Computer Vision and Graphics, you will design methods for 3D avatar animation, collect training data with motion capture, and run ML experiments

Qualifikationen

• Enrollment in a full-time degree program in computer science, maths, or a related field, ideally at the master’s level.
• Basic knowledge in computer graphics, computer vision, or machine learning/neural networks.
• Programming in Python; knowledge of PyTorch is a plus.
• Experience or interest in 3D engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
• Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of German is welcome.
• Structured, independent work style and genuine interest in deep-tech research.

What you contribute

• Basic knowledge in at least one of the following areas: computer graphics, computer vision, or machine learning / neural networks
• Programming experience in Python; knowledge of PyTorch is a plus
• Experience or interest in 3D engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity
• Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of German is welcome
• A structured, independent work style and a genuine interest in deep-tech research

The position is initially limited to 1 year. An extension is explicitly desired.

The monthly working time is 80 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
