Job Summary
SNHU is looking for a motivated, creative student to join our marketing team as an assistant organic marketing content creator. This role is ideal for someone who is a strong writer and has an interest in learning about organic marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), content and social media marketing.
This is a written and video content creation position ideal for a master’s-level student and consists of 15-20 hours per week on average. The position requires the selected candidate to work remotely, choosing their own schedule in compliance with weekly project benchmarks and deadlines.
Primary duties will be geared toward what is needed to produce informative content articles, student profiles and on-trend social media videos. In addition to foundational training in SEO and organic marketing, the successful candidate will complete their time as an assistant organic marketing content creator with a portfolio of professionally published articles featuring their byline and a reel of highly engaged social video posts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Write compelling content articles and alumni profiles for the SNHU Newsroom following the university’s voice, tone and brand guidelines
Learn about SEO and content marketing and apply your growing knowledge to new and existing content
Pitch, script and shoot short-form videos that engage a social media audience
Collaborate with the team to align content with ongoing campaigns and strategic priorities
Stay up-to-date with trends in digital marketing and student behavior online
Assist the organic marketing manager with various other tasks
Minimum Requirements
Enrollment in a graduate writing, marketing or communication-related program at SNHU
Work study as part of your financial aid package
Interest and/or experience in writing for marketing
Experience or interest in creating short-form video content.
Familiarity with social media platforms (especially TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
Proficiency in English language
Ability to submit writing samples

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
