In the body in white production engineering, we are responsible for the design, construction, and ramp-up of our production lines within the stamp shop, body shop, and paint shop. This involves integrating new vehicles from R&D and managing constraints from our factories. Currently, this involves planning with high uncertainty, modeling complex scenarios, and handling various constraints and non-functional requirements.
Our goal is to develop a system to handle these constraints and requirements efficiently and to enhance existing AI technologies by adding semantic understanding.
Your thesis will focus on improving these AI capabilities with domain-specific knowledge to increase precision and user interaction efficiency.
You will build on existing research and collaborate with an ongoing doctorate project. Initiative and innovation are encouraged, including challenging the status quo.
The final thesis selection will be made in consultation with you, the university, and us. The master thesis can start from September 2025.
