A leading research institute in Aachen is seeking a Student Assistant to work in the Surface Structuring department. The role involves conducting experiments, analyzing results, and supporting documentation in laser-based technologies. The ideal candidate is studying in relevant fields like mechanical engineering or physics, and has strong German and/or English skills. The Surface Structuring department specializes in the micro- and nanostructuring of surfaces in order to develop innovative solutions for surface structuring.
Remuneration is based on the general works agreement on the employment of temporary staff. The weekly working hours are between 12 and 20 hours and will be agreed individually during the interview. The position is initially limited to 12 months, but the aim is to offer longer-term employment alongside your studies.
