Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to desk PnL by identifying, implementing, and executing profitable trading strategies in the structured products space.
2. Collaborate with other traders and analysts to generate new ideas and strategies.
3. Develop and maintain a strong market view on European energy markets (power, gas, emissions) to support directional and volatility-based trading strategies.
4. Pitch strategies to senior trading management for risk capital allocation.
5. Work with origination teams or brokers to execute strategies in external markets.
6. Own the position and PnL throughout the entire product lifecycle.
7. Coordinate with quants to ensure optimal pricing approaches and work with risk teams to ensure transparency of inherent risks and PnL.

• Technical skills such as Python or other programming languages, and database skills are a plus.
