Structural mechanic (m/f/d)

Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated structural mechanic (f/m/d) to join our special-projects rocketry team. This is a rare opportunity allowing you to be involved in demanding prototyping efforts in a NewSpace environment. You will work in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for excellence by creating high-performance engineering solutions while keeping production costs at an absolute minimum. Your Tasks

1. Precise assembly work, such as the positioning and fixing of components
2. Checking the fixtures, tools and auxiliary materials to be used for availability and usability
3. Machining of carbon fiber composites
4. Close cooperation with quality assurance and other responsible departments
5. Independent checking of work steps for quality and completeness of the installed components
6. Participation in process improvement
7. Documentation of work steps

Your Qualifications

1. Completed trade as aircraft mechanic, construction technician, manufacturing technology or comparable
2. Experience in structural assembly
3. Experience in the machining and processing of fiber composites is a plus
4. Spatial imagination and a good technical understanding
5. Forklift and crane license desirable
6. Willingness to perform occasional assembly work at various locations
7. Independent, systematic, goal-oriented and conscientious way of working
8. Motivation and enthusiasm as well as a high degree of motivation
9. Hands-on mentality and willingness to support other departments
