Job description
Tasks
- Assemble components and subassemblies made of composite materials
- Process CFRP and metal components (e.g. cutting, fitting, structural assembly)
- Integrate systems and components into composite structures
- Perform mechanical assembly tasks including riveting, drilling, sealing
- Work independently based on drawings, work instructions and production plans
- Assignments in military aircraft programs such as Tiger and NH90
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement process
- Comply with safety and hygiene regulations for working with composites
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, automotive mechanic, metalworker, bodywork technician, or similar metal-processing profession
- Extensive professional experience in manufacturing, production, mechanics, aerospace or aircraft construction
- Experience with wet lay-up repairs and basic electrical work is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Fluent German skills (min. C1) and basic English skills
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is absolutely required
