Job summary

Prematch in Cologne is seeking a hands-on, strategic operator to lead the partnership with a global sports brand. You will prepare meetings and decks, own partner reporting, and drive strategic projects for European expansion across several countries.

You will guide KPIs and manage a small team of working students, while shaping a fast-paced startup environment. The role offers a hybrid work model with 3 days in the Cologne office and flexible remote options.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in consulting, strategy & operations, BizOps, key account or project management.
• Fluent German and English.
• Willing to work in Cologne office at least 3 days a week.
• Startup mindset and ability to navigate with an evolving roadmap.

• Location: You can see yourself in our Cologne office (Belgisches Viertel) and are able to come in at least 3 days a week.
• Experience: You bring 2 to 5 years of experience in consulting, strategy & operations, BizOps, key account or project management, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
• Languages are no problem: You speak German and English fluently.
• You know football: You're genuinely interested in grassroots football and have a feel for what moves this community.
• Startup spirit: You'd rather shape things than just tick boxes - even when that means figuring stuff out without a finished roadmap.

What you’ll do - your playing field

This is how you move our mission forward every day.

• You're the engine behind our brand partnership. You prepare our partner meetings and decks, coordinate day to day with your counterpart and make sure our Head of Teamwear walks in with a clear story and recommendations.
• You own our partner reporting. From the monthly update to the quarterly business review and the half-yearly market share report, you turn data on tens of thousands of grassroots teams into a clear story with recommendations.
• You drive strategic projects. Market and competitor analyses, upsell potentials and market analyses for our European expansion (France, UK, Spain, Italy).
• You drive your own Key Results and keep track of the department's KPIs, so our Head of Teamwear always knows where we stand.
• You steer a team of >5 working students and mini-jobbers. You set priorities, split the work and make sure the quality is right.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also:

• Prepare ad-hoc analyses and presentations for the Head of Teamwear and the founders
• You report to our Head of Teamwear and work directly with our CEO

• Stakeholder management: You align founders, colleagues and an external partner, and you get input from people who don't report to you.
• Fast pace & startup mindset: You enjoy switching between a monthly deadline and an ad-hoc request, and you'd rather ship at 80% than wait for 100%.
• Tools: Advanced Google Sheets / Excel and Slides/ Pitch/ PowerPoint, Notion, and AI tools in your daily work.

• This is a hands-on role at the intersection of partner management, reporting and strategic projects. It is not a data engineering role: no coding, no pipelines. A data team supports you on the technical side.
