Jobbeschreibung

Internal careers create opportunities! For this reason we plan to fill the position as Strategic Technology & Product Portfolio Manager (m/f/d).

This role reports directly into our Corporate Head of Technology for the Kardex Group and is responsible for supporting the Group Technology function in driving strategic projects related to Technology Management and Product Portfolio Development across the entire Kardex Group.

Your tasks

  • Identifying growth opportunities, business model innovation, and facilitating cross-business unit initiatives as well as scouting, and evaluating hardware and software technologies to enhance Kardex's solution competitiveness
  • Conducting market analysis, business case development, due diligence for partnerships and M&A activities and if applicable integration, and supporting the strategic direction of Kardex's technology roadmap
  • Monitoring medium to long-term business trends/outlooks, gathering competitive intelligence to contribute to strategic business planning discussions with leadership
  • Analyzing and managing medium and long-term capital expenditure and project approval decisions
  • In some organizations may review corporate governance, balanced score card performance, and participate in the annual business planning cycle
  • Defining and rolling out new business models while collaborating closely with sales to understand business demand


Your profile

  • Master's degree in Technology Management, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
  • Additional qualifications in Innovation Management, Strategic Technology Management, or M&A-related fields is preferred
  • Ability to conduct market research, technology scouting, and due diligence evaluations
  • Business acumen to create business cases, partnerships, and strategic technology roadmaps
  • Experience in intralogistics, automation, robotics, and software platforms is an advantage
  • Fluency in German and English in communicating effective on all hierarchy levels
