Position Overview : We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Strategic Sales Manager to lead our efforts in hunting new business opportunities within the Retail vertical and other related sectors. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong networking abilities, and a proven track record in sales to effectively drive our growth initiatives in the UK market.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Business Development :
  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the Retail vertical and related industries. - Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
  • Relationship Building :
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives in potential client organizations.
  • Establish trust and credibility by understanding client needs and proposing tailored solutions.
  • Market Analysis :
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities within the retail sector.
  • Utilize insights gained to refine sales strategies and tactics.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution :
  • Lead sales presentations and demonstrations of our Order Management Solutions, clearly articulating value propositions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that resonate with potential customers in the Retail vertical.
  • Work closely with product management to provide customer feedback and help shape future product offerings.
  • Performance Tracking :
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management, outlining progress toward goals and identifying areas for improvement.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a strategic sales role, preferably within the Order Management or E-commerce solutions industry.
  • Proven track record of hunting new business and achieving or exceeding sales targets, particularly in the Retail vertical.
  • Strong understanding of order management systems, e-commerce technologies, and the retail landscape.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
