Summary / Role Purpose
The Strategic Sales Engagements Manager (m/f/d) serves as a strategic partner and force multiplier to the Regional Vice President, driving operational excellence, cross-functional alignment, and execution of key business initiatives across the EMEA region. This role enhances leadership effectiveness by optimizing workflows, managing strategic priorities, and ensuring seamless coordination across departments.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Strategic Execution: Partner with executives to define, drive, and track strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Operational Efficiency: Improve business processes, eliminate roadblocks, and drive continuous improvement across functions.
- Executive Decision Support: Provide data-driven insights, structure complex business problems, and support high-impact decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between leadership and key stakeholders, fostering alignment across departments.
- Support of Strategic Planning on a broad basis across all of EMEA working cross-functionally, quarterbacking progress from the sales organization.
- Sales & Business Optimization: Enhance sales efficiency, enablement programs, and strategic planning in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Executive Communications & Branding: Craft executive presentations, strategic communications, and reports to elevate leadership influence and drive decision-making.
- Meeting & Event Orchestration: Plan and facilitate executive meetings, offsites, and strategic discussions, ensuring effective outcomes.
- Special Projects & Initiatives: Lead and/or execute high-priority projects that drive business impact and organizational growth.
- Leadership Enablement: Anticipate executive needs, manage priorities, and ensure focus on the highest-value activities.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
- Education & Experience Equivalency: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field OR 7+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- 7-10+ years of professional experience in roles such as strategy, business operations, consulting, finance, sales operations, or executive leadership support.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably within enterprise SaaS, technology, or industrial/manufacturing sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage strategic projects from inception to execution with measurable business impact.
- Strong executive communication skills (both written and verbal), with experience preparing presentations, reports, and strategic briefings.
- Analytical and problem-solving expertise, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration, influencing stakeholders across departments such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive initiatives forward with minimal guidance.
- Proven experience in strategy, operations, or business management roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and drive insights.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Highly adaptable, thrives in fast-paced environments, and excels at problem-solving.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- MBA or advanced degree (highly desirable but not required).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, BI platforms) and executive reporting tools (PowerPoint, etc.) is a plus.
