Qualifikationen

What you'll do

• You will be responsible for sourcing machinery and equipment, as well as related services, for Knauf engineering projects on a global scale
• In close collaboration with the technical division and other major divisions, the most suitable global suppliers will be pinpointed and cultivated by examining their capabilities and technologies to aid in the development of new plants
• You will expand our supplier network by conducting new tenders and integrating new partners, while also fostering strong relationships with existing suppliers to enhance their future business potential
• The role involves negotiating commercial contract terms with suppliers and working with the legal department on all matters related to contracts
• Purchase orders will be issued in SAP, invoice-related issues with accounts payable will be resolved and project expediting will be supported to ensure the timely delivery of all equipment to the site

Who you are

• You possess a degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable qualification, which provides a strong educational foundation for the role
• With several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing in an international setting, you have in-depth knowledge of procurement methods and concepts, particularly in the capital expenditures (CapEx) domain
• Proficiency in English and other languages is considered a valuable business asset
• Your professional profile is defined by your ability to think strategically, negotiate effectively, and analyze, communicate, and cooperate across cultures
• As an independent, goal-oriented team player and networker, your proficiency in MS Office and SAP rounds off your profile perfectly
