Responsibilities

1. You take responsibility for global procurement in the areas of IT hardware and telecommunications - covering both direct and indirect spending.
2. You manage operational procurement processes and continuously optimize them, handling everything from initial offers to final delivery.
3. You develop effective sourcing strategies in collaboration with product management, sales, and IT, aligning with overall business goals.
4. You analyze procurement metrics regularly, derive actionable recommendations, and present them confidently to stakeholders.
5. You lead tenders and contract negotiations, build long-term supplier relationships, and successfully close high-value agreements.

Qualifications

• Several years of practical procurement experience, ideally in the healthcare sector, focusing on IT hardware, software/licenses, with telecommunications knowledge being a plus.
• Technical expertise in SAP MM (ECC 6.0 and/or S/4HANA), advanced skills in MS Excel, and confident use of Office365.
• A proven track record in negotiating contracts and delivering strategic procurement projects.
• A solution-oriented personality who works independently with internal leadership and contributes to shaping global procurement strategies.
• A degree in business administration or IT.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong advantage.
• Organized, analytical, and proactive in cross-team collaboration.
