ABOUT THE TEAM

The Partnerships team is at the front line when it comes to growing strategic alliances spanning Trade Republic’s product spectrum. As gatekeeper to our business, the team works across key segments of our industry: from KYC and FinCrime to Banking, Investing, and beyond. We work cross-functionally, distilling the needs of our internal customers to expand our technical capabilities at the best possible price point, all the while optimizing for performance.

As generalists, we get up to speed on new technologies and services daily to identify business opportunities, reduce risk, and anchor the firm in the broader fintech ecosystem.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Contribute to and execute the commercial strategy of our product roadmap, becoming the business relationship owner tasked to preserve the commercial viability of our partnerships and the sound business judgment in our strategic projects.
  • Play an active role in the procurement process, which may involve creating requests for proposals (RfPs), evaluating bids, and coordinating the selection with internal stakeholders.
  • Handle commercial negotiations supported by elaborate financial and operational models, delivering actionable recommendations to management.
  • Assess and prioritize opportunities to diversify revenue streams and increase profitability in line with company goals.
  • Develop and maintain models to stress-test the resilience of our partnerships and work towards immunizing against single points of failure.
  • Conduct competitive research to map opportunities and ensure we secure the best collaborations across our industry.
  • Manage relationships within our partner ecosystem, escalating needs, understanding partners’ perspectives, and driving synergies in joint ventures to meet targets and service levels.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Graduated from a top-tier university with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced environment (startup, management consulting, private equity, or investment banking).
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong attention to detail and enjoyment working with data to support decisions.
  • Ability to break down complex problems and formulate clear conclusions and action plans.
  • Excellent rapport-building skills, both internally and externally, with a client-first mentality.
  • Effective in commercial discussions, with strategic negotiation skills.
  • Ability to make compelling business cases and persuade others.
  • Calm under pressure, confident in stakeholder interactions.
  • Curious, motivated, and impact-driven.
  • Results-oriented and proactive in getting things done.
