LOCATION:

This position is a remote, work from home position, as are all positions at Acceleration Partners, aligning with our culture and vision to change the work/life paradigm. Candidates must reside in Germany. Travel is required for client meetings, conferences, and internal events.

THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Partnership Development Manager to support our TikTok B2B affiliate team, focusing on the Small Business Global B2B program in Germany. The role involves engaging in client calls to pitch opportunities, providing strategic insights, and tracking progress towards goals. A proactive, action-oriented mindset and effective questioning are essential.

TOP 5 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Client Revenue: Contribute to revenue goals through high-potential relationships, publisher optimization, and product reviews.
  2. Performance and Placement Trackers: Regularly update relationship and placement trackers with partnership details.
  3. SME in Client Verticals and Partner Relationships: Develop expertise in client verticals, lead conversations, and share knowledge across the organization.

Business Development and Publisher Relationships:

  1. Proactive Research: Identify new partnerships and opportunities using industry resources.
  2. Persuasiveness: Recruit high-potential partners and negotiate terms effectively.
  3. Relationship Fostering and Growth: Maintain strong relationships with top publishers and expand the network.
  4. Communication Skills: Conduct clear, engaging communication, including cold outreach and daily management of publisher relations.

Pitching Opportunities:

  1. Persuasiveness: Pitch innovative ideas backed by data, challenge the status quo.
  2. Knowledge and Tenacity: Understand publisher verticals, address objections, and push back when necessary.
  3. Client Communication: Share projections and results, handle difficult conversations professionally.
  4. Sharing Best Practices: Contribute ideas and feedback across teams.
  5. Risk Management: Identify issues, escalate appropriately, and suggest solutions.

QUALITIES OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Strong ability to identify digital strategies based on publisher models.
  • Quick relationship builder, self-starter, target-driven.
  • Experience in tech, media sales, or brand roles, especially with SMBs.
  • Deep understanding of performance and acquisition marketing.
  • Proven success in managing complex partnerships and influencing stakeholders.
  • Data-driven, analytical, and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator in remote environments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
  • Fluency in German and knowledge of the German market.
  • 7+ years in business development, account management, or marketing roles.
  • Experience with social media, mobile apps, digital advertising, and performance marketing.
  • Proven sales record, negotiation skills, and ability to lead client presentations.
  • Remote work experience is a plus.
