Your Role

As a dedicated Strategic Manufacturing Program Planner / Operations Strategist, you will play a key role in strategic capacity planning and managing critical projects that influence major operational decisions within the MED implants and disposables business.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Guiding strategic capacity planning for Carl Zeiss Meditec implants and disposables across international manufacturing sites, serving as the main reference for long-term operational plans.
2. Implementing capacity planning processes in newly acquired businesses and overseeing post-merger integration (PMI) operations within the operations strategy team.
3. Organizing capacity committee meetings with management to facilitate decision-making on capacity expansion projects, including site expansions and new site establishments.
4. Developing business case assessments for investment decisions and preparing presentations for the MED Board to support management choices.
5. Designing calculation methods and tools for strategic volume planning and allocations, continuously improving the strategic planning process.
6. Managing strategic operations projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and contributing to the formulation of operations strategy, including data analysis to generate relevant scenarios aligned with MED's strategic objectives.
7. Participating in M&A activities related to operations.

Your profile

Master's degree in Business or Engineering

Extensive experience in strategic planning, operations management, or consulting, with a focus on operations strategy.

Profound experience working in a global operations environment.

Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint for top management presentations.

Strong collaborative, teamworking abilities, structured and results-driven work methods.

Excellent communication skills in English and German.
