Your Responsibilities

• Per hiring manager discretion, the ideal candidate can be location in Urbandale, IA, Fargo, ND or the Quad Cities (Davenport, Bettendorf, Rock Island, Moline, East Moline).
  
  
  

As a Strategic Communications Specialist for JD Intelligent Solutions Group located in Urbandale, IA, you will:

• Lead planning and execution of communication strategies and tactics for ISG VPs, and Directors in support of current initiatives, projects, events or changes impacting the business; including presentations and message development (both internal and external), newsletters, videos, Viva Engage, and website editing.
• Develop and execute audience-centric messages (i.e., presentations, letters, global all-employee meetings, and videos) with distribution to ensure timely, accurate, and aligned communication is executed in a way that drives action for each audience.
• Manage broad communication channels for the ISG global audience including SharePoint sites and Viva Engage channels.
• Understand the ISG business to ensure employees can connect how their work contributes to the John Deere precision technology strategy.
• Lead location-specific communications, supporting :10 facilities globally, including digital signage, SharePoint pages, Viva Engage channels, newsletters, posters and more.

What Skills You Need

• 3 or more years of experience with the communication planning process and measurement techniques
• 3 or more year of experience with communication theories, especially employee/internal communications
• 3 or more years of experience using Adobe Creative Cloud
• 3 or more years of experience in video editing (Premier Pro, Adobe Rush)
• 3 or more years of experience using Microsoft suite products (Powerpoint)
• 1 or more years of effective writing experience, including grammatical usage, persuasive copy and style
• Thirst for knowledge of new communication tactics and development of new skills such as design, editing, photography, motion graphics, audio visual, web, journalism, marketing and advertising.
