Are you looking to accelerate STADA's pipeline through your patent activities within a globally operating IP team and contribute to our growth? Join our global Intellectual Property Team.

What you can expect

  • You will handle the patent-related support for new product launches as well as for existing products. This includes processing and responding to validity inquiries or cease-and-desist letters from rights holders, as well as coordinating the filing of protective letters.
  • You will work alongside our external patent attorneys to challenge third-party technical rights by coordinating nullity, cancellation, and European opposition proceedings.
  • In the event of interim injunction proceedings and patent infringement lawsuits, you will take charge of the defense in collaboration with our external patent and legal counsel.
  • You will prepare decision-makers for market launches that involve patent-related risks.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for processing settlement agreements and license agreements.
  • You will develop defense strategies and strategies for introducing patent-critical new products.

Who We Are Looking For

  • A completed degree in chemistry or pharmacy is required.
  • Ideally, you should be a qualified patent attorney or patent assessor.
  • It would be an advantage if you have passed the European Qualifying Examination.
  • Experience and strong knowledge of European and German patent law are essential.
  • You should have experience and a solid understanding of patent litigation.
  • Previous professional experience in the patent department of an industrial company would be ideal.
  • A meticulous, reliable, dedicated, and independent working style is important to us.
  • You should possess a sense of responsibility and the ability to work in a team.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
